2Personal data collected

In the course of booking and stay we may collect:

• Identity data (name, surname, date of birth, nationality)
• Contact data (email, phone, residential address)
• Identity document data, acquired at check-in
• Number and composition of guests, dates of stay
• Payment data, processed directly by the payment provider (Stripe)
• Communications exchanged via email or messaging (WhatsApp)

3Purposes and legal basis

Data is processed to:

• Perform the rental contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) — managing the booking, the stay and related payments.
• Comply with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR), in particular:
  • notification of guest data to the Italian Police Authority, via the Alloggiati Web portal (art. 109 of the Italian Public Security Act, TULPS)
  • tax and fiscal obligations (income tax, Italian cedolare secca flat tax, municipal tourist tax of Valtournenche)
  • communication of the CIN to the Italian National Accommodation Register (art. 13-ter DL 145/2023)
• Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) — responding to information requests and handling any complaints.

4Third-party disclosure

Data may be shared, strictly as needed, with the following parties:

• Smoobu GmbH (Germany) — property management software and booking widget
• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland) — payment processor
• Booking.com B.V. (Netherlands) — distribution platform, calendar synchronisation
• Netlify, Inc. (United States / EU) — website hosting
• Italian State Police — Questura di Aosta, via the Alloggiati Web portal
• Italian Revenue Agency and Municipality of Valtournenche for tax and tourist tax obligations

No commercial or marketing transfers are made. Transfers outside the EU, where applicable, are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5Data retention

• Booking data and accounting records: 10 years from the end of the stay, for tax obligations
• Data submitted to Alloggiati Web: deleted automatically under applicable regulations
• Communications (email, WhatsApp): up to 2 years from the last interaction
• Payment data: retained only by the processor (Stripe) under its own PCI-DSS-compliant policies

6Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights granted by GDPR articles 15–22:

• access to your data
• rectification
• erasure (right to be forgotten)
• restriction of processing
• portability
• objection to processing
• withdrawal of consent, where applicable

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7Cookie Policy

The website panoramicapartment.com uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for proper functioning, specifically:

• Technical cookies from the Smoobu booking widget (login.smoobu.com) — user session management and saving of selected dates
• Session cookies from Stripe (stripe.com) — activated during payment to prevent fraud and complete the transaction

The website does not use:

• profiling cookies
• marketing or behavioural advertising cookies
• third-party tracking tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar)

External resources loaded:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): typography is loaded from Google servers. No cookies are issued, but the visitor's IP address is recorded in Google's technical logs.
• OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org): a map is embedded in the "Location" section, loading base tiles from OSM servers.
